Welcome to finish it up Friday!

This is such a busy time of year, is not it? I really feel like I am not obtaining something done, but I actually am. The issue is that my “to-do” list is just ridiculous. Anybody else in the exact same boat? I do not know how to fix it, but at least I know what the difficulty is! That’s half the battle, appropriate?

Anyway, on to a couple of finishes…. 🙂

I finished a quilt best this week! I am calling it the straightforward quilt. It really is easy, fast, and it enables quite fabric to shine. What else do you need? The rectangles are reduce 3 1/2″ x 9 1/2″. I love this color mixture! It feels excellent to be sewing up my stash! This will be a charity quilt for A Mother’s Hope.

I also completed up a few far more pincushions this morning. The tops have been sitting on my sewing table for a few weeks now. It feels excellent to turn them into completed objects! Those small red circles are hand appliqued and rustic at ideal. After stitching this one, I threw out the remaining circles that I had been saving for years. There are lots of other scraps to use! Ha! These pincushions are scrap project #188.

Moody lighting in the photographs brought to you by the gloomy December weather. 🙂

Now, it’s your turn! Do you have a finish to share these days? If so, please hyperlink up. It really is very good to celebrate finishes! Thank you for joining me for finish it up Friday! Hope you have a lovely weekend.
